As we cross the hump of the week already, many of you are probably already planning a midweek treat. And if you’re a fan of Pokémon TCG Pocket, I can think of nothing better than jumping into the new drop event that’s running until July 11th, with a promo card perfect for those of you with a sweet tooth.
By now, you’re probably familiar with drop events if you’re a longtime player. Simply jump into solo battles, duke it out, and earn a promo pack. This time around, it’s promo pack A series volume 10!
And yes, there’s a pretty sweet treat included as the latest promo card is a lovingly rendered Alcremie. Since it’s Wimbledon time over here in the UK, we’ve had strawberries and cream on the mind, and Alcremie certainly fits the bill, even if this Pokémon most certainly isn’t for the eating.
Smooth like cream
It’s a good time to jump into Pokémon TCG Pocket, regardless of whether you’re shooting for this new promo pack or not. Because the recently launched Eevee Grove expansion has plenty of new cards to collect, with many based around the fan-favourite Pokémon Eevee!
And if that still doesn’t tickle your fancy, it’s always worth going back a bit further in time to check out the suite of other expansions that have already been released. While Pokémon TCG Pocket had a bit of an unsteady beginning, it’s undoubtedly standing tall as one of the best trading card adaptations for mobile that’s out there right now!
