What is Prime Day?
Amazon Prime Day is an annual Amazon shopping event. It features major discounts and special deals on a wide range of products across the Amazon website. Only Amazon Prime members can access these special offers (but it’s easy to start an Amazon Prime trial if you’re not currently a subscriber).
While it’s called Prime ‘Day’ the event often lasts longer than 24 hours. Amazon Prime Day 2025 runs from the 8th to the 11th July, so it’s live now.
Several types of products feature in the Prime Day event, including homeware, clothing, toys, beauty and, most importantly for us, Amazon devices (Echo, Fire TV, Kindle, etc) and other electronics.
