Xbox users can now stream their own games on consoles

There are several new features coming to the Xbox ecosystem with an update. Microsoft has detailed these functions, which could prove pretty useful.

Let’s start with the Xbox mobile app, which will soon let users make purchases, subscribe to Game Pass and collect benefits directly from the app. At first, only beta users on iOS and Android will be able to take advantage of all this. It will be deployed full-scale at a later time.

The biggie is being able to stream our games via the cloud to Microsoft consoles. Xbox Game Pass Ultimate subs have access to this right now. Over a hundred games (excluding Game Pass) can now be played in the cloud on Xbox Series X|S and Xbox One.

Now let’s turn to remote play, which is coming soon to Samsung Smart TVs, Amazon Fire TVs and Meta Quest headsets. A new storage management system is introduced on Xbox consoles, and new game hubs make their appearance.
