The RTX 5050 for Laptops is now official. Based on the GB207 GPU, it represents the lowest segment of the Blackwell range. It features 2,560 CUDA cores, compared with 3,328 for the RTX 5060. Both cards share 8 GB GDDR7 memory and a maximum GPU rating of 115 W (100 W + 15 W Dynamic Boost).

According to manufacturers’ tests, the RTX 5060 is on average 21% to 22% faster than the RTX 5050, and the RTX 5070 is 41% to 49% faster. An RTX 5050 with a high TGP could offer performance close to the “Max-Q” variants of the RTX 5060. It’s quite important to check the TDP of each model.
