Apple's Vision Air headset could come out by the end of the year

After disappointing sales of the Vision Pro, Apple is reportedly speeding up development of a more affordable headset, the Vision Air. Initially scheduled for 2026, this new model could end up being released by the end of the year, according to Mark Gurman (Power On). It could be announced at the same time as the new MacBook Pros equipped with M5 chips.
The Vision Pro, despite its technical advances in augmented and mixed reality, has not met with the expected success, mainly due to its high price. Apple is keen to ensure that this range does not remain marginal, and is banking on a less expensive model to reach a wider audience.
It remains to be seen whether the Vision Air will replace the Vision Pro or add to the existing range. As far as pricing is concerned, Apple may stay above the $1,500 mark, but nothing has been confirmed yet.
