Nintendo shows us the Switch 2 GameChat community function once again

Even though it was shown at length during the Nintendo Direct, the GameChat function is once again the protagonist of an unpublished video shared by the Japanese company.
By pressing the Switch 2’s famous C button, players will be able to chat and play together. Each session can accommodate up to 12 people. Four participants will be able to share their screen simultaneously and show off their best faces thanks to the camera sold separately. A microphone is integrated directly into the console. It will be able to pick up the user’s voice even if he or she is at quite a distance from the Switch 2.
It’s important to note that a subscription to Nintendo Switch Online is required to use this function. So Nintendo has discovered Discord in 2025… Alas, as the video proves, it all slows down when everyone shares their screen.
