Nintendo Direct Partner Showcase – live: Every game announcement as it happens

Ooh, that’s unexpected. Zelda?! Nintendo just showed off an all-new trailer for Hyrule Warriors: Age of Imprisonment. Very unexpected – it looks fantastic.

It was one of my predictions, and it’s here. Persona 3 Reload is launching on the Switch 2 on October 23, so Switch fans can finally play the cult game themselves.

Pac-Man World 2 is getting remade for the Nintendo Switch 2. Recapped launches this September.

Football fans, FC 26 is coming to Nintendo Switch 2 and Switch 1, and it looks like HyperMotion V is going to be supported on the new system. It launches this September.

Nintendo’s now showcasing games that will arrive on both platforms. Dragon Ball Sparking Zero will arrive in November, and will be available to pre-order later today.

Of course, it’s on every generation of Nintendo Switch. The next Just Dance 2026 game will be released later this year on October 14 on the Nintendo Switch 2

Here we go – first up is Once Upon a Katamari from Bandai Namco. A new spin on the classic rolling series.

It launches on October 24, later this year.

Nintendo Direct presentations are usually a bit of a whirlwind. Nintendo will probably spend 30 seconds on some games, while others will get a couple of minutes.

It’s 25 minutes long, so we could see 25 ports and new titles if we’re lucky.

My predictions? I reckon we’ll see footage from Elden Ring and the Final Fantasy VII Remake, but that’s almost a given.

The announcement of new Switch 2 Clair Obscur and Persona 3 Reload ports would be nice too.
