AMD has quietly announced the Radeon Pro W7400

Two years after the Radeon Pro W7500 and W7600, AMD is back with a new entry-level graphics card for workstations: the Radeon Pro W7400.

Still based on the RDNA 3 (Navi 33) architecture, it features 28 compute units and 8 GB of GDDR6 memory, like the W7500, but stands out with reduced power consumption of 55W (compared to 70W previously).

This model, intended for light professional use, requires no external power connector and is designed for configurations with power supplies of at least 450W.

In return, the frequencies have been reduced, with memory at 10.8 Gbps (compared to 18 Gbps), bandwidth of 172.8 GB/s, and a boost to 1.1 GHz, for a computing power of 7.9 TFLOPS in single precision.

We have no official images as of yet, suggesting that the card is reserved for OEMs or system integrators. It appears to be tailored for video decoding and encoding tasks, without targeting heavy workloads.
