Last December, Akira announced Tetris the Grand Master 4 -Absolute Eye-, a new version of the iconic puzzle game due for release on PC this month.
But before that, we just got the Steam page for the game, and it comes with several images and details about the title. This entry should offer a more in-depth Tetris experience, aimed at a wide audience. You’ll need strategy and speed to win.
Among the modes on offer at launch, there’s Marathon, in which you have to achieve the highest score. Then there’s the Normal mode, which has you to clear the lines as quickly as possible. Meanwhile, the Asuka mode is designed for intermediate players, as Tetrominoes fall even faster. A rewind function is also included.
Continuing with the Master mode, which will increase the difficulty even further, requiring the use of techniques to go as far as possible. Konoha mode features large blocks, with bonus illustrations appearing after each victory. Finally, the Shiranui mode will pit you against several types of AI in fast-paced battles.
