90 Day Fiance’s Rachel Walters Reveals Jon Walters Divorce Is Final

90 Day Fiancé alum Rachel Walters (née Bear) revealed that her divorce from Jon Walters is final almost a year after they announced their split.
“I wanted to give you an update on my current status,” Rachel, 40, began in a TikTok video she posted on March 8. “As of the end of last month, I am officially divorced.”
However, the mom of two had more to add about the situation.
“Here’s the thing, Jon has had the paperwork since October and told me that he would sign it soon, but because of his work schedule, he’s ‘too busy.’ So, by January, when I haven’t actually received any paperwork, I had a friend serve him in person at his house,” Rachel explained. “That gave him 30 days to respond or I move on with the divorce without him. Needless to say, I moved on with the divorce without him. So, anyway, I’m divorced. I have officially gone back to my maiden name, which I will do my best to not release, but, yeah, this is me. Single as a Pringle and happier than ever.”
Rachel also had a message for Jon’s alleged new girlfriend.
“Also, to his new girlfriend, keep in mind when you’re the background object in his videos, there’s a reason for that,” she continued. “If he posts things about you online and only tags you in it, there’s a reason for that. All of these things are for him, not for you. They should be for you. Maybe one day he’ll figure that out.”
The former reality TV star went on to thank her unnamed friend for serving Jon and described them as her “literal hero.”
“This is me speaking for me and I’M finally baaaaack!! Any ideas on a new Instagram name?” Rachel captioned the video.
Jon responded to Rachel’s post with one of his own.

“Just found out I’m officially divorced courtesy of Rachel making a video for her followers which a blogger sent me,” Jon wrote in a message shared by a 90 Day Fiancé blogger via Instagram. “It was just super sad seeing her so snarky and bitter toward me and it included a vague warning to my new girlfriend which was unnecessary. I wish her nothing but the best and I hope she finds someone as wonderful as I have.”
Fans first met Jon and Rachel in 2018 when they appeared in season 2 of 90 Day Fiancé: Before the 90 Days. They met on a karaoke app and Rachel eventually flew to England with her infant daughter to meet Jon for the first time. The former couple wed in 2018, but they ran into some major issues when they tried to obtain a visa for Jon to move to the United States due to his criminal history. Rachel couldn’t move to the U.K. because of the custody arrangement she had with her ex regarding her oldest daughter.
Eventually, the difficulties became too much for their relationship to withstand and in May 2024, Jon and Rachel announced they had decided to go their separate ways.
“It absolutely pains me to post this. This isn’t the update we wanted to share,” Rachel told fans in an Instagram Reel on May 7, 2024. “This isn’t the ending we were hoping for. Nor is it the finale we were thinking would happen. Long distance relationships can be brutal on the toughest of couples. We have, unfortunately, grown too far apart. The decision has been made, on our end, to not continue. The visa journey is sadly over. It’s the end of an era and was not an easy decision to have to make. Please give us the privacy and time to adjust to our new reality.”
