MindsEye 2 is said to be scheduled for as early as 2026 and will feature multiplayer

This is a new rumor to be cautious about. After reporting the existence of a game based on a TV series at Build A Rocket Boy, YouTuber BaityBait is already talking about a sequel to MindsEye.
According to him, the studio had planned to launch MindsEye 2 as early as 2026. It’s hard to believe, but the developers were also planning to make it a multiplayer title. Of course, this information is impossible to verify at present. What’s more, given the resounding failure of the first episode, it’s hard to see a sequel arriving on such short notice.
Furthermore, BaityBait added that during a meeting, co-CEO Mark Gerhard reportedly described the Build A Rocket Boy teams as "lazy and incompetent". When the news broke, the atmosphere within the studio was said to have deteriorated sharply.
