Marvel Contest of Champions gears up for an update inspired by The Fantastic Four: First Steps
- 7-star Mister Fantastic joins the roster
- New Eidol Solvarch also joining the mix
- Pride celebrations to begin with Runaways heroes
Things are heating up in Marvel Contest of Champions and not just because of the Human Torch. A tidal wave of new content is being unleashed this June, celebrating Marvel Studios’ The Fantastic Four: First Steps with a multiverse-themed event, debuting new original characters, and spotlighting LGBTQ+ heroes in a month-long Pride event.
The Fantastic Force Saga kicks off on June 4th, sending you on a quest across the Battlerealm to collect Research Grants. These collectibles can be exchanged for a 7-Star Mister Fantastic, giving you a powerful ally and stretching your roster in more ways than one.
On June 11th, the action continues with the Vaults of Variant side quest. Reed Richards’ latest research into multiverse magic is predictably unstable, and it’s up to you to help contain the fallout. This special event runs through July 9th, packed with unpredictable encounters and experimental rewards.
The Eidol storyline is ramping up as well. Following Isophyne’s arrival and Lumatrix’s debut in April, the chase now turns toward Solvarch, also known as the Wolf of the Stars. He’ll be available from June 4th to October 8th as part of this ongoing narrative arc exploring the mysterious Founders of The Battlerealm.

Furthermore, June celebrates Pride with the arrival of Runaways heroes Nico Minoru on the 12th and Karolina Dean on the 26th. Throughout June, the Runway Ready solo event lets you earn rewards and Pride-themed profile pics just by doing what you already do best – winning fights.
Rounding things out, Captain Britain gets a fresh rework and joins the Double Track Event on June 4th, Ironheart gets her own login calendar starting June 10th, and the Heat Wave Sale goes live on June 27th, featuring some fire-tier deals, including a 7-Star Human Torch.
