Pokémon Go will bring new Adventure Effects for Zacian and Zamazenta during the Go Fest 2025

• Behemoth Blade and Behemoth Bash are the new Adventure Effects
• First, get the Crowned forms by obtaining 1,000 units
• Each activation will cost 5,000 Stardust and 5 Candy

Zacian and Zamazenta’s long-awaited Crowned forms are finally arriving in Pokémon Go, and they’re bringing more than just a stat boost. Starting with the Pokémon Go Fest 2025, you can activate two new Adventure Effects tied to the Warrior Pokémon’s signature moves, Behemoth Blade and Behemoth Bash. 

These Adventure Effects for Crowned Zacian and Zamazenta in Pokémon Go offer short-term power-ups during raids and Max Battles, giving you the edge when it matters most. Each activation costs 5,000 Stardust and five Candy for the respective Pokémon, boosting offence with Crowned Sword Zacian or defence with Crowned Shield Zamazenta for six minutes.

To unlock these abilities, you’ll first need to transform Zacian and Zamazenta into their Crowned forms. That requires 1,000 units of either Crowned Sword Energy or Crowned Shield Energy, obtainable through five-star raids or Special Research during Go Fest 2025. Once you’ve transformed them, switching between forms becomes free and unlimited.

Their arrival will also be witnessed in Max Battles, where Crowned Zacian and Zamazenta play a major role despite lacking Dynamax capabilities. Their signature moves, Behemoth Blade and Behemoth Bash, function like Max Attacks and can be levelled up alongside special Guard and Spirit moves exclusive to the new format.

Zacian and Zamazenta will appear in five-star raids throughout Pokémon Go Fest 2025: Global, which kicks off July 13th. After defeating them, you’ll encounter their base forms and earn Crowned Energy. Before that, Pokémon Go will celebrate its ninth anniversary, bringing back birthday-themed versions of familiar Pokémon alongside a tonne of goodies to grab.
