Liam Neeson’s touchng gesture for makeup artist Sandy Linter who did late wife Natasha Richardson’s funeral makeup
A makeup artist who claims to have done the late Natasha Richardson‘s funeral makeup has shared the touching gesture she reportedly received from Liam Neeson.
Sandy Linter, a makeup artist with a 50-year-long career, took to Instagram to share the story.
“I worked with Natasha Richardson several times,” she shared in the caption, “I got the news that she’d struck her head and died from the injury she sustained while skiing.

“I was asked to make her up while she was ‘lying in state’. An Irish custom. She looked like a queen,” Linter remarked.
She then said that two months later, she got a call from Neeson, the late actress’ husband, asking her to go to his apartment.
“He asked me if I were doing well. I said yes. And then he said ‘I know what I’ll do’ and he came back and handed me this note.”

The note, which Linter posted, read, “Dear Sandy, My family and I are so appreciative of what you did for our Natasha. We were deeply touched by your gesture, and realise how difficult it must have been for you. It meant so much to all of us.”
The note was dated May 4, 2009, two months after Richardson’s death.
The next picture included a screenshot of an article about Neeson, 73, and his blossoming romance with Pamela Anderson.

“He’s such a good guy,” said Linter, “Like everyone else I’m so happy for him. Can’t wait to see the movie,” speaking of his new project, The Naked Gun, in which he stars with Anderson, 58.
The pair have been involved in relationship rumours as they promoted their film, with many picking up on the veteran actors’ chemistry.
It reached a peak when they pair addressed ongoing rumours of a budding romance between them in a new interview with the US Today Show four days ago.

The co-stars sat down for an interview with co-host Craig Melvin who asked them plainly, “There’s clearly chemistry on display throughout this film, are you two an item?”
Both Anderson and Neeson acted shocked when Melvin asked the question with Anderson quipping back, “What? I don’t understand the question.”
Then Neeson, who acted disappointed by the question, continued to explain the situation.

”I had never met Pamela before, we met on set and we have a lovely budding chemistry as two actors,” he said.
“And it was like, ‘Oh this is nice, let’s not mould this, let’s just let it breathe’ and that’s what we did.”
Taking in Neeson’s words, Melvin went on to clarify.

“So that’s what we’re doing now, we’re watching the beginning of a breathing of a budding relationship,” he toyed.
Anderson and Neeson laughed in response.
Since Richardson’s death, Neeson had only been involved in one other relationship, with Freya St. Johnston for two years. In 2024 said he was “past all that” when asked if he was dating anyone, but has now seemed to have changed his mind.

Neeson and Richardson firsrt met on the set of Anna Christie in 1993 and got married the next year. They shared two sons together, Micheál (born 1995) and Daniel (born 1996).
Their romance was cruelly cut short in 2009 by the actress’ shocking death aged 45 following a skiing accident.
