“I was on stage in the middle of One Way Ticket,” she explained.

“I feel something pop in my mouth, and if you’ve been around, you know I’ve had a lot of dental surgeries and I have a bridge in the front, and it fell out in the middle of my song last night.”

Rimes said she just panicked and told the crowd to hold on while she ran off stage.

“[I] put it back in, like popped it back in, and then just went on singing. I just had to get real with everybody and tell them exactly what was happening or else I would have had to walk off stage,” she continued.

“And so for the rest of the show I was literally like this pushing my teeth in.”

Rimes said that every few lines she’d have to press her thumb into her teeth to try keep them in place, despite struggling through her hit Can’t Fight The Moonlight

The singer actually laughed the whole thing off and said “it was the most epic experience ever.”

Rimes admitted it had been a long time since she had a first like that in her career and hoped it would also be a last.

She explained that she shared the story because she wanted to keep it real, and to warn the front row in case they flew out during her next show.

“And you know what, there wasn’t a f—ing thing I could do about it except either walk off, or just to hold my teeth in and sing,” she said.

“So I just ran with it.”
