Law & Order worlds are colliding once more.
NBC announced that the flagship Law & Order series and Law & Order: Special Victims Unit will cross over on April 17.
The two-hour crossover event will see SVU‘s Captain Olivia Benson (Mariska Hargitay) discover a brutal murder after a tip on a mysterious phone call. Members of both the SVU team and Law & Order‘s 27th Precinct will investigate a series of rapes and murders victimizing marginalized women. SVU‘s ADA Dominick Carisi, Jr. (Peter Scanavino) and L&O‘s ADA Nolan Price (Hugh Dancy) will then team up to prosecute the suspect.
And if that two-hour L&O block wasn’t enough, NBC also announced that Law & Order: Organized Crime will air its season premiere immediately after the crossover ends at 10 p.m., temporarily taking the usual slot from Found, which will premiere its newest episode on Monday, April 14. Organized Crime will then shift to premiering all of its new episodes on Peacock rather than NBC.

2025’s crossover event marks the third time the flagship L&O series has crossed over with SVU since its revival in 2022. Hargitay and Terry Serpico both appeared on a May 2022 episode of L&O, and the two shows later joined forces in September 2022 in an event that also included Organized Crime.
