Sydney Sweeney is selling soap with her bathwater in it

Rejoice, weirdos! Sydney Sweeney is selling a soap made from her very own bathwater.

Yes, you read that right. The 27-year-old Anyone But You actress is now granting everyone and you the chance to purchase her new bathwater-infused limited-edition soap after fielding an influx of inquiries from rabid fans interested in obtaining the water she sat in while shooting a viral Dr. Squatch ad last year.

“When your fans start asking for your bathwater, you can either ignore it, or turn it into a bar of Dr. Squatch soap,” Sweeney said in a press release. “It’s weird in the best way, and I love that we created something that’s not just unforgettable, it actually smells incredible and delivers like every other Dr. Squatch product I love. Hopefully, this helps guys wake up to the realities of conventional personal care products and pushes them towards natural.”

Called Sydney’s Bathwater Bliss, the natural soap “bricc” is formulated with Sweeney’s used bathing water, exfoliating sand, and pine bark extract; it contains notes of pine, Douglas fir, and moss. So basically it smells like the great outdoors, a place that someone buying this soap has likely never visited.

“There’s no playbook for turning Sydney Sweeney’s actual bathwater into a bar of soap, but that’s exactly why we did it,” said John Ludeke, Dr. Squatch’s SVP of global marketing. “We thrive on ideas that make you laugh and encourage you to pay attention to the ingredients in your personal care products. This bar is bizarre, unexpected, and intended to get guys to think more deeply about the ingredients in the products they are putting on their bodies.”

In her original viral ad, Sweeney can be seen sitting in a tub filled with bubbles as she calls out all the “dirty little boys” watching who are “interested in my body… wash.” The Euphoria star then encourages them to make the switch to Dr. Squatch’s Natural Body Wash.

Sweeney’s Instagram post announcing her bathwater soap drew very divided reactions from fans. “Thanks, I’ll take 100,” one person commented. Another added, “Sydney honey I love you but I don’t know about this.”
