- King’s League II is out now on Android and iOS
- Choose from over 30 classes with distinctive traits and abilities
- Build either a damage or defence-focused team, or something in the middle
For fans of strategy simulation RPGs, today will be a red letter day, because the highly-anticipated sequel to the award-winning King’s League is finally here! King’s League II offers even more classes to recruit and train, even more team compositions to pit against your enemies.
King’s League, as you might expect from the name, sees you training a team of characters composed of over 30 classes with distinctive traits and abilities. You can develop a team of damage dealers to cut through enemy defences or form your own unbreakable defence line.
As you train and improve your roster of characters, you’ll slowly rise through the prestigious King’s League for even greater rewards and challenges. You can either follow the tales of individual league participants in Story Mode or simply chart your own course free of any restrictions with Classic Mode.
A league of their own
King’s League is definitely one of those releases that reminds me a lot of the good old days of flash gaming. With the art style and the gameplay reminiscent of classics in that genre, I can imagine this will be excellent fun when fans get their hands on it.
It’s also nice to see a strategy RPG that ditches the overly flashy 3D effects and complexities of minute statistical differences in favour of something a bit similar in balancing out your attack and defence for the ideal team composition.
Still, if this and the agreeably cartoony visual aesthetic still don’t agree with you, there are always other options out there to satisfy your RPG craving.
