Kendra Wilkinson ‘Very Happy’ as a Real Estate Broker & Mom of 2 (EXCL)

Kendra Wilkinson has been sticking up for herself and giving her haters hell for calling out her weight gain, as a source exclusively tells In Touch she’s refusing to back down while still working toward reinventing herself as a realtor and doing a fantastic job as a divorced mom of two.

“Kendra is doing really great, her real estate career is taking off, her health is good, her kids are thriving, she feels very happy with where her life is at and very proud of herself for all the hard work she’s put in to get to this place,” the insider says. “She’s always been a spitfire and not the type of person to bite her tongue, so it’s not a big shock she’s telling people where to stick it.”

The former Playboy Playmate, 39, made a move most celebs would advise against and clapped directly back at people online criticizing her for putting on some weight, though for Kendra, pushing back against trolls seems to be working out. “Yes, I’ve gained weight. Yes, im aging. Yes, I’m not that girl i was before (playboy girl),” the retired model posted to Instagram. “But for once in a long time I feel good and mentally healthy.”

“She’s not going to take crap from anyone, least of all some random strangers on the internet,” the source adds. “She could just turn off her comments or block and delete, but she feels like that would be letting the trolls win, since she genuinely likes to use social media to connect with her real fans.”

“She loves the sweet comments people leave her and she doesn’t want to lose that. The downside is dealing with the hateful people out there that want to take a swing and try to hurt her with nasty comments, but Kendra has an incredibly thick skin and a strong attitude,” the insider explains.

Speaking to People in January, the Girls Next Door reality star confirmed that these days she’s all about her two kids, Hank, 15, and Alijah, 10, whom she shares with ex-husband Hank Baskett. “Right now, I’m focused on my kids, the love that they’re receiving from me and life, and raising them — and self-love,” she told the publication. “It’s all about self-love and self-care. If I’m not caring about myself, nobody else will. So the most important thing is focusing on my mental health.”

The reality star recently stated she had been celibate for a spell since her split from Hank in 2018. “Everyone sees me as a sex icon, so I shamed myself. I shamed myself, and I stayed away from anything sex,” she said. Though, with her newfound confidence and focus, she’s making a play to re-enter the field.

“It’s hilarious because the universe is talking to me. I tried to get on Raya and it’s been four years on the waiting list,” Kendra said, referencing the exclusive dating app that requires a strict vetting process. “I swear to God and they will not let me in. So the universe is basically saying, ‘We’re not ready for you. Dating world, Kendra is not coming in. You better, you better wait an extra five years.’ Because once … Kendra enters the dating world, it’s on.’”

The source adds that despite the hate she received on social media and her Raya registration troubles, “She’s very happy and no one is going to take that away from her.”
