Increasing temperatures in New York City have unlocked a timeless fear within Kelly Ripa and Mark Consuelos: Naked people in Central Park.
The Live cohosts and longtime spouses revealed on Tuesday’s episode of the talk show that they’re growing increasingly anxious about the number of uncovered bodies they’re about to see as New Yorkers weather the impending summer season.
“You know why I’m happy today? It’s miserable outside, it looks like Loch Ness,” Ripa said at the top of the show, admitting that she’s happy to be shut inside their studio while rain pours down.

But, as Consuelos reminded her, “Tomorrow, this is your kind of weather, Kelly Ripa Consuelos,” he said. “84 degrees here in the city. Thursday? 88. Very warm, and more humid!”
Ripa paused before realizing that the weather would bring more than just comfortable temps in the days ahead.
“You know what that means? People are going to be nude in Central Park,” she said. “I walk through Central Park, and I’m as judgy as they get.”
Consuelos piped up with a judgmental question as well, asking, “First of all, does anybody work here in the city? Don’t these people have jobs?”
When producer Michael Gelman observed that some people have “night jobs,” Consuelos agreed, repeating, “Night jobs? That’s true,” before the couple moved on to discuss Father’s Day.
Later in the episode, the theme of nudity carried on throughout the remainder of the hosts’ chat, as Ripa discussed a dream in which she’s “parading through the hallways naked” of her former high school.

Ripa’s admission about judging nude people in public came months after the couple discussed the time Consuelos once urinated on a public walking trail.
“I did go land snorkeling on one of our hikes because it was just too populated on the trail because I had to go pee,” Consuelos revealed in April. “So, I went off-trail, and I said, ‘Can you see me?’ and she said, ‘Yep, still can see you.'”
