Judas won't feature any live service elements or DLC

The highly promising Judas is still a long way from release on consoles and PC. The new game from Ken Levine, creator of BioShock, hasn’t shown its face for quite some time now.
However, Levine spoke about its game in an interview published on Nightdive Studios’ YouTube channel. During the interview, Levine explained that Judas will go for an old-fashioned structure and business strategy.
"Judas is a very old-school game. You buy the game and you have the whole experience. There’s no online component, there’s no live service aspect, because everything we do is about telling the story and transporting the player."
Ken Levine also pointed out that single-player games such as The Witcher 3, Cyberpunk 2077, Clair Obscur: Expedition 33 or even Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2 are traditional in their approach, with no monetization. And according to him, gamers appreciate and reward such a strategy.
