Joycelyn Savage’s Parents Question Authenticity of Her Proof-of-Life Video, Suspect AI Manipulation

*Joycelyn Savage’s parents are raising alarms after she appeared in a video meant to prove she is safe, alleging the footage was fabricated using artificial intelligence.

As SandraRose.com reports, despite Joycelyn’s direct statements denying claims that she’s missing or in danger, her parents, Jonjelyn and Timothy Savage, insist they do not believe the video is genuine.

“It confirms why we’ve been fighting so hard just to make sure she’s fine,” Jonjelyn said, citing irregularities in her daughter’s voice and behavior in the clip. The couple maintains that Joycelyn is still missing and have filed two separate missing person reports out of concern for her well-being.

TMZ published the video in question, which features Joycelyn addressing the rumors surrounding her and R. Kelly, who is currently serving a 30-year prison sentence for sex trafficking. “I want the world to know I’m not being held against my will. I’m in love, I’m engaged, and I’ve made a choice — one I have the right to make as a grown woman,” she said.

She shared further details of her relationship with Kelly, stating she proposed to him while he was in prison three years ago. “I have seen him every weekend for the past six years,” she said, adding that they plan to marry and start a family.

Joycelyn also pushed back against her parents’ claims, adding, “Please don’t believe the lies my mother and father are coming out here saying about me and Robert. I am not held against my will. I am not a sex slave. I am not brainwashed or any of those crazy lies that were told on me.”

Her written statement, submitted through attorney Beau Brindley’s office, emphasized her independence and happiness. “I’m right where I want to be,” Joycelyn said.

Despite these declarations, the Savages remain doubtful. Timothy stated, “We really need to find [out] what’s happening with our daughter,” describing the video as suspicious and raising “some concerns.”

The stark contrast between Joycelyn’s statements and her parents’ continued fears has sparked public speculation, with the suggestion of AI manipulation adding a new layer of complexity to an already contentious situation.
