Jinkx Monsoon, BenDeLaCreme reveal ‘Jinkx & DeLa Holiday Show’ 2025 tour dates

As if the Yuletide couldn’t get any gayer, RuPaul’s Drag Race icons Jinkx Monsoon and BenDeLaCreme are spinning the existential dread of a dreary political scene into another festively flamboyant holiday romp — and Entertainment Weekly can exclusively reveal the 2025 Jinkx & DeLa Holiday Show tour dates set to show it all off on the road.

The pair will write the 2025 show (their seventh overall) in the weeks ahead, and promise to keep it topical as they maintain a “traveling safe space” for marginalized people to find community across the country. They won’t be able to do that, however, in some states’ venues, as EW has learned that, due to anti-LGBTQ legislation in key areas, theaters relying on state funding were hesitant to book the drag queen duo for shows this year. So, the team skipped dates in conservative havens like Florida, Texas, and Tennessee.

“I’m also responsible for the safety of this cast and crew,” DeLa, who will write, direct, and produce through her BenDeLaCreme Presents company, tells EW. “As difficult as it is to look ahead, we’re trying to make choices that’ll allow the Jinkx & DeLa Holiday Show to exist and go as many places as it can for as long as it can. It’s a dark thing to grapple with.”

Amid a rise in targeted anti-LGBTQ maneuvers under a conservative presidential administration, DeLa says the 2025 holiday tour allows audiences to “laugh solid for two hours” and feel “strong going back out into the world,” while Jinkx notes that watching the holiday hilarity promotes having “serious conversations in the stupidest way possible.”

Read on for EW’s conversation with Jinkx and DeLa, plus the full list of Jinkx & DeLa Holiday Show 2025 tour dates. Presale begins today at 1 p.m. ET/10 a.m. PT (code: HOHOHO), with general tickets available beginning Friday, July 11 at 1 p.m. ET/10 a.m. PT.

ENTERTAINMENT WEEKLY: Given Jinkx’s Broadway success, have you discussed taking this to Broadway?

BENDELACREME: There’ve been conversations [about that] brought to us. It’s an exciting idea. Especially when each year feels more fraught than the last. Our mission statement is spreading a community space to other places. We’re in a privileged position, to have formed a show with queer entertainers and crew from different backgrounds, taking them from city to city to play huge rooms for thousands of people. It’s a traveling safe space! As much as the Broadway scene is a big possibility, Broadway is doing okay for queer representation. We want to go where we’re needed.

I noticed you aren’t visiting Florida and Texas this year, but have in the past. Is that because these states have strict anti-LGBT laws?

DELA: You’re not reading into that. Me and producers Kevin Heard, Gus Lanza, and Jin Moon worked hard routing throughout the area. Unfortunately, we had to make tough choices. Part of it is logistics, but early on we faced conversations with some venues we’ve been with [in some states], who had concerns about where we’d be. We care about our audiences in all these places, and it was no easy decision.

How will this show be different from past iterations?

JINKX MONSOON: A lot of that question gets answered in the creation process, because DeLa and I come to things carte blanche. When we begin, that generation comes and we figure out what the show is going to be this year, based on what we think our audiences and we need this year. We write a new show every year, and this year DeLa is going to take on a heavier load as chief writer.

DELA: We make a point to have this be of the moment, no matter how f—ed up that moment is. That’s a more monumental task every year…. Every year this gets to be more of a dark exploration of existential dread, and we figure out how to imbue that with as much candy cane as possible. This year, you can expect us to push both of those extremes even further.

I’d love to know how Snatch Game legends feel about All Stars 10 Snatch Game, because on Monét Talks, DeLa, you said you felt “personally offended” by season 17’s Snatch Game.

DELA: I’m going to be the one to offend people, because I haven’t watched it yet! I’ve started owning that. I’ve danced around when I haven’t seen episodes yet because I feel so guilty, but at this point, we’re so many seasons in that I feel justified.

JINKX: I’ve come to a middle point where I can’t keep up with everything. Eight shows a week [on Broadway] is no joke, so I do what I can to keep abreast of the buzz! I feel attached to the community and my sisters. I’m excited for All Stars. I normally know more people on All Stars, so I have a vested interest. What I’ll say about the Snatch Game is, I had a hard time knowing who anyone was. So many contemporary references that went over my head. It made me feel so old! So, Ginger Minj’s Reba McEntire [was my favorite]!

DELA: I didn’t even know who Snatch Game characters were on my seasons. I didn’t know who Laganja was [as Rachel Zoe], I didn’t know who Phaedra Parks was when Kennedy did her on All Stars. That’s why I play characters like Maggie Smith, who didn’t know what the hell is going on, or characters like Paul Lynde, who was dead.

Fans want RuPaul’s Best Friends Race. Would you return for that?

DELA: Jinkx and I talk about this a lot. The only way to accurately reflect the spirit of a Best Friends Race would be a non-elimination season. Jinkx had a beautiful showing in a season where the queens all got to just show their best every week. I — notoriously [Laughs] — am not into the elimination process, so that’d be a big caveat, but one that seems reasonable.

JINKX: I went on All Stars because the circumstances were right for me to go in and do my best work. Everything DeLa said is how I think I could go [back] and do my best work. I’m a fan of objective truth, so I’m a fan of point systems over subjective forms of settling things. So, yeah, I’d totally [go back]. At this point, I want to do as much of everything that I do as possible, and a big part of that is working with DeLa. If we keep finding new, interesting ways to work together, I’m interested in all the shapes that takes. However, competitions bring something out in me, and I don’t know if I’ve got another one in me. I don’t know if I’d survive a third!
