Jinger Duggar, Kylie Kelce ‘Didn’t Plan’ to Both Name New Babies Finn

Jinger Vuolo (née Duggar) joked that she and Kylie Kelce naming their newborn babies Finn wasn’t on purpose.
“OK I promise Kylie & I didn’t plan this,” Jinger, 31, wrote alongside a Reel of Kylie’s “Not Gonna Lie” podcast on her Instagram Stories on Wednesday, April 2.
Jinger gave birth to her third child, a little boy named Finnegan, on Saturday, March 29, and Kylie, 33, gave birth to fourth daughter, Finnley, the following day. Both women plan on calling their newest additions “Finn” for short.
The former 19 Kids and Counting star shared a clip of Kylie talking about how she and husband Jason Kelce chose the name for their fourth little girl.
“The saga has officially concluded,” Kylie began in the clip from her Thursday, April 3, episode. “All the people who are going to be triggered by the fact that this name does not have two Ts, I warned you. It was a journey.”
Throughout her pregnancy several people suggested that Kylie follow the trend of choosing a name with two Ts in it like her three other daughters, Wyatt, 5, Elliotte, 3, and Bennett, 2.
“I totally respect your opinion on the names of our children,” Kylie explained. “You’re allowed to have your own opinion, but I actually don’t care what it is. And I mean that in the most loving and respectful way. We named them and it’s official.”
She continued, “For the first 24 hours of her life, she did not have a name. We had discussed names with anyone we could trust to not share names. We didn’t go with a single option that we had been discussing, so there’s that.”

The NFL WAG went on to say that the baby’s name is Finnley Anne Kelce, but they “plan to call her Finn for short.”
“The name Finn was not one of the names that we were discussing with other people but came back around because it was a serious contender for Elliotte’s name,” Kylie added. “Considering we had to name four children with the same gender, we had to run it back to the archives, borrow one from a different child.”
Jinger revealed the big news of baby Finn’s birth via her YouTube channel on Sunday, March 30.
“Finally … our baby boy has arrived! In today’s vlog, we share the beautiful moment our girls & family met him for the first time. We’re overwhelmed with joy and can’t wait to introduce him to all of you — plus, we finally reveal his name!” the Counting On alum captioned the video.
As for how they decided to name their son, Finnegan, Jinger said that she and her husband, Jeremy Vuolo, “just loved the name.” She said that it was a “pretty fairly great delivery” and added, “I’m just so thankful to God that we have this healthy baby boy here with us.”
Finn was welcomed home by his older sisters, Felicity, 6, and Evangeline, 4, and Jinger had previously joked about how surprised she was when she learned they would be adding a boy to their brood.
“I was so shocked, I almost fell off my chair,” Jinger told Entertainment Tonight on January 14. “I was like, ‘How is this boy gonna fit in?’ But we are keeping the name a secret until the baby’s born, which is what we always do.”
