It takes more than a cricket crawling up her neck to bug Jennifer Lopez.
The “Let’s Get Loud” singer, 56, was in the middle of her performance at the Central Stadium in Almaty, Kazakhstan, on Sunday when she was joined by a surprise special guest: a massive cricket that quickly found a spot on her neck to rest.
In video footage from the event posted to social media, Lopez can be seen smiling at the crowd as the cricket casually weaves its way up her sheer black dress and onto her skin.

Ever the professional, the This Is Me… Now star appeared calm, cool, and collected as she grabbed the insect in her hand and tossed it toward the other side of the stage.
“It was tickling me,” Lopez explained to the audience, before continuing on with her set.
The post’s comment section was flooded with fans who applauded her professionalism. “The cricket walking on her neck and she’s just chill, finishing the song like nothing’s going on,” one wrote, “Then at the end, she takes the bug off with total class! If it were me, I’d be screaming already!”
Another added, “Handled it so well, I would have collapsed right there.”
If Lopez has proved anything on her ongoing Up All Night: Live in 2025 Tour, it’s that she can handle any situation that comes her way. Her insect incident comes less than a month after she laughed off a wardrobe malfunction while performing in Warsaw, Poland, on July 24.

The event, which was held on her 56th birthday, saw Lopez’s skirt suddenly fall down while the crowd sang her “Happy Birthday,” prompting the star to strut across the stage and show off her golden shorts. “I’m out here in my underwear,” she joked.
After attempting to fix the skirt one more time, Lopez ended up tossing it into the audience. “I’m glad I had underwear on,” she explained at the end of the song. “I don’t usually wear underwear.”
She is next slated to perform at the Hotel Cala di Volpe in Sardinia, Italy, on Aug. 12.
