Jalen Hurts Attends After Skipping White House Visit

Jalen Hurts is scoring some style points at the 2025 Met Gala.
One week after he skipped the Philadelphia Eagles’ April 28 visit with President Donald Trump at the White House, the Super Bowl-winning quarterback hiked his way up the stairs of fashion’s biggest night with his new wife Bry Burrows.
The 26-year-old—who wed in a private ceremony last month—attended the event with Burberry and sported an all-black ensemble, featuring a velvet suit embellished with gems alongside the top. He accessorized the outfit with an elegant black beret and a Tiffany & Co. brooch on his tie. Meanwhile, Bry complemented his look in a maroon gown adorned with sequined designs and tassels. Two weeks before the Met Gala, Jalen was honored April 25 at the TIME100 Gala and made headlines with his awkward non-response when asked if he would be joining his team on their victory trip to the White House. On the day of the Eagles’ celebration with the president, just three days later, the White House confirmed to NBC News that Jalen was unable to attend due to “scheduling conflicts.”
