Rodriguez has bossed this fight so far but Griffin scored a fine left hook in the fourth round to keep him in check.

Jake Paul storms out of Piers Morgan interview in heated clash
Jake Paul angrily stormed off an interview with Piers Morgan following a heated exchange. The YouTube star, who is due to fight Julio Cesar Chavez Jr in Anaheim on Saturday (28 June), was confronted by Morgan over his boxing credentials. Paul said: “I think the problem here Piers is that you think your opinion matters.” Morgan continued: “The only proper boxer you fought was Tommy Fury and he beat you. Pete Tyson you wouldn’t have lasted 10 seconds.” The 28-year-old then hung up the call, as a bemused Morgan said: “Cheers Jake, really enjoyed that, and good luck to Julio – knock him out for all of us will you?”

The secret recovery tool helping Chavez Jr prepare for Paul clash
Chavez Jr has been less forthcoming than Paul with details about his preparations.
There is one clip from last month showing Chavez Jr hitting a circuit of hurdles, sled pushes, Versaclimber intervals, slam ball chest throws and battle ropes, dressed in head-to-toe sweats. But beyond this, training insights have been few and far between.
A recent video with DAZN captures him working through some footwork techniques, with coach Jorge Capetillo revealing his “conditioning is very well [sic] – he’s been doing between 10 and 12 rounds [in training] so I feel comfortable he will put in a great performance”. After this, Chavez Jr heads home to put his feet up on the sofa while watching TV with his team.
As he does this, he is zipped into a pair of inflating boots that rise up to his hips. So what are these odd-looking contraptions, and how could they help Chavez Jr’s training efforts?

Inside Paul’s training: Double days, ‘brutal’ track sessions and 1,000-rep workouts
Paul’s journey to professional boxing is far from conventional. While his pedigree in the sport is regularly debated online, his work ethic rarely is.
His ambitions are equally unambiguous, with the 28-year-old telling DAZN: “The main goal now is to get a belt, that’s the only thing I haven’t accomplished in the sport of boxing. I’ve won knockout of the year, [I won the] most-viewed fight ever, so for me the only thing that’s left is to become world champion.”
To achieve this, Paul’s strength and conditioning coach and Let’s Build Champions author Larry Wade has been subjecting the star to an intense pre-fight training camp containing double training days, ‘brutal’ track sessions and 1,000-rep abs workouts.
This is what a week in the life of a YouTuber-turned-professional boxer with world-topping aspirations looks like:
