Thursday is here and that means it’s that time of the week again – free games! This week, the Epic Games Store mobile app is giving away Evoland 2: A Slight Case of Spacetime Continuum Disorder and Out There: Omega Edition at no cost. You can grab them on Android worldwide and on iOS if you’re in the European Union thanks to the sideloading laws.
Evoland 2: A Slight Case of Spacetime Continuum Disorder
A love letter to video games past and present, Evoland 2 by Shiro Games and Playdigious is an RPG that constantly reinvents itself. You play as an amnesiac protagonist who, thanks to a slight case of spacetime continuum disorder, finds themselves travelling through different eras of gaming history.
As you jump between time periods, the game itself transforms, sometimes looking like an 8-bit classic, other times mimicking a PlayStation-era RPG. One moment you’re dungeon-crawling in 2D like Zelda, the next you’re in a 3D turn-based battle straight out of Final Fantasy. It’s a genre-hopping, nostalgia-fuelled adventure, and now’s the perfect time to experience it.
Out There: Omega Edition
If deep space survival is more your speed, Out There: Omega Edition by Mi-Clos Studio drops you into an unforgiving galaxy where every decision could mean life or death.
You play as an astronaut sent to find resources for a depleted Earth. But after a cryonic nap gone wrong, you wake up light-years from home, stranded in uncharted space. Your only hope is to harvest resources, repair your ship, and learn to communicate with alien civilizations while ensuring your oxygen doesn’t run out.
Both games are free for a limited time, so whether you want a lesson on gaming history or prefer a drift through the void, now’s your chance. Just don’t wait too long because the games are available only until April 3rd.
