Intel has confirmed the Arc Battlemage GPUs suitable for Edge servers, with a launch scheduled for Q4 2025. The aim is to process certain AI workloads locally, reducing latency and cloud-related costs.
The models concerned, based on BMG-G21 architecture, will feature passive cooling, increased memory and improved energy efficiency.
While already present in some workstations, Arc GPUs will continue to expand with larger memory configurations, according to Intel.
