Four years after its release on PS5, Ratchet & Clank: Rift Apart was still hiding a little secret from gamers. That’s why senior designer Grant Parker has decided to reveal its existence.
It’s a mini-game that unlocks in an unconventional way. You have to go to the Zurkie space station and face an entrance with two signs indicating that weapons are forbidden. To get started, you need to shoot the left panel five times, then the right four times, and then the left thirteen times.
The player must then enter the bar and go to the mechanical bull to interact with it by holding L2. This launches a rodeo mini-game. This was only in the prototyping phase and is therefore rather rudimentary. You use the right stick to keep your balance on the bull.
