Infinity Nikki unveils its magical fairytale version 1.6, Playful Season, coming soon

• Infinity Nikki is set to expand with the upcoming version 1.5
• The Playful Season will feature new outfits and interactive attractions
• Nikki and Momo will also go about saving a cursed fairy apprentice

Infinity Nikki has struggled recently, with version 1.5 being poorly received by many players and even prompting a public apology. However, the team behind the hit dress-up RPG looks set to put that all behind them with a whopper of a new update coming soon in the form of the Playful Season, which is set to arrive on June 13th.

The main focus of the Playful Season is a new story that will see Nikki and Momo meeting a cursed fairy in need of their help, mainly due to being turned into a chicken. Naturally, that means Nikki transforming into a fairy herself to explore a brand-new storybook-like world. Accompanied by Momo, she’ll face off against all manner of obstacles and monsters.

Of course, it wouldn’t be Nikki if there weren’t some manner of interactive fun to be had. And there are three new interactive attractions arriving in Miraland to accompany the new celebratory atmosphere. There’s the sky path, which allows every creature, Nikki included, to freely fly through the air (perfect for photo-mode), a pumpkin-shaped ride that surprisingly doesn’t turn into a carriage, and the chicken-shaped Beretsant Trampoline for an extra bit of oddness.

Truly Magical

There’s a lot more to be found in this season, such as new maze challenges and items, but more likely than not, the majority of you will be most interested in the new outfits. And you won’t be left disappointed as five new ability outfits are being added, with the main focus being on the Enchanted Encounter, an outfit that causes small animals nearby to float around in dreamlike fashion.

It’s certainly good to see the folks at Infinity Nikki moving on from the issues that have hit it in the past. Hopefully, with how jam-packed this new season is, fans will agree that all is well.
