“You ever f***ing mess with my daughter again, I’ll slit you f***ing throat,” she screamed.

Speaking to 7NEWS exclusively the mother claimed it was her daughter being relentlessly bullied at St Paul’s College, in Gilles Plains, that drove her to attend the school and confront the child.

“[The bullying] has been going on for more than 12 months”, the mother said, adding that she and her husband had done everything in their power to protect their daughter.

“The school has been negligent on their behalf, they have not done, what they said [they’d] do.

“They have ignored all aspects about what we stated about the bullying with our daughter.”

The mother said she had reached a tipping point, and that she wasn’t usually the type of person who lashed out.

But seeing the toll the bullying had taken on her daughter and the family, she felt compelled to take action.

“What everyone has seen of me is not who I am as a mother or as a person,” she told 7NEWS.

“It was a mother that was distraught, at seeing her 13-year-old daughter being bulled for an immense amount of time. “

The mother said her daughter’s mental health had drastically deteriorated and had driven her to self-harm.

“It has been extremely difficult, we have had suicide attempts, we’ve had our daughter refuse to go to school,” she said.

“To see the physical effects it’s had on her mental health is destroying us as a family.”

The mother’s identity was suppressed to avoid “undue hardship” to her children when her case was heard for the first time in Adelaide Magistrates Court on Friday in front of Magistrate Louise Kleinig, according to the Adelaide Advertiser.

Her children have since been removed from St Paul’s and enrolled at another school.

The student who was allegedly threatened in February was not physically injured.

The woman will return to court next month.
