Expedition 33 Developer “Exploring” Accessibility Features, New Content, and More

Game of the Year frontrunner (at least per OpenCritic) Clair Obscur: Expedition 33 doesn’t have any DLC planned for the future. However, Sandfall Interactive is “exploring” a wide range of “future improvements,” including accessibility features, expanded localization options, and new content.
It doesn’t have any “specific timelines or confirmed languages to share just yet,” but it wanted to inform fans that “it’s very much on our radar.” In terms of accessibility features, it could add options to hold buttons for multiple dodges and parries instead of consecutive presses or even a mini-map to navigate levels (though the team was adamant on excluding the same).
The new content is a greater mystery and could range from additional lore to modes like Boss Rush or Boss Rematch. The latest patch added the option to rematch a hidden boss and Challenge Modifiers from Act 3 onwards, including capping one’s damage and massively increasing enemy health. Head here for more details.
Clair Obscur: Expedition 33 is available for Xbox Series X/S, PS5, and PC. It’s sold 3.3 million copies thus far and received extensive critical acclaim. Check out our review, where we gave it a nine out of ten.
