Here comes the Lisuan 7G106: the first Chinese gaming GPU by a startup

Chinese startup Lisuan Technology has just announced its first gaming graphics card, the 7G106, designed locally and manufactured using TSMC’s 6nm process. Compatible with DirectX 12 (without ray tracing), Vulkan 1.3, and OpenGL 4.6, it targets gamers looking for an alternative to international brands.

The 7G106 has 12 GB of GDDR6 memory on a 192-bit bus and boasts a theoretical power of 24 TFLOP/s in FP32. Despite a successful 4K demonstration on Black Myth: Wukong, its performance on 3DMark remains below that of an RTX 5050.

Lisuan highlights a variety of uses, ranging from gaming to virtualization, with SR-IOV support for 16 virtual machines.

A professional version with 24 GB of memory is also planned. It has no precise launch date just yet.
