Valve has made improvements to the Steam trailer player

Valve has made a small update to its platform in order to improve the readability of the media added to each game page.
The interface for playing trailers on Steam has been modernized. It is now easier to use and, above all, more responsive. By dragging the mouse or your finger (on mobile) over the player’s timeline bar, you can preview the images. What’s more, this interface adapts to all devices (PC, Steam Deck, iPhone, etc.) without any problems.
Another important point is that the video technology has been improved. Anomalies such as pauses and jerky movements that could occur during fast forwarding have been eliminated. Bandwidth is also optimized with the addition of four resolutions (360p, 480p, 720p, and 1080p) that will change dynamically depending on network quality.
Finally, all image formats are now supported with scaling, centering, or the addition of black bars when necessary.
