Halle Bailey Alleges Physical Assault by DDG in January Incident
Halle Bailey, actress and singer, has filed a restraining order against rapper DDG, claiming he physically assaulted her during a custody handoff. In March, Bailey claims DDG entered her home without her knowledge or consent. He allegedly went to her bedroom, took a photo of her empty bed, and texted it to her with the message: “now I know what u been on lol.” Bailey interpreted this as an accusation of infidelity.
Four days later, when DDG returned to her house, Bailey told him she and Halo were sick and not up for a visit. She says he became enraged, destroyed her Ring camera, took her phone, and threw it out the car window while shouting, “GO GET IT b!tch.” She filed a police report and claims she has Ring footage to back up her version of events.
Restraining Order Granted; Bailey Heads to Italy With Son
The court granted Bailey a domestic violence restraining order. It requires DDG to stay at least 100 yards away from both her and their 18-month-old son, Halo. Additionally, the order prohibits him from speaking about or streaming content related to her or their child on social media.
Bailey has also been granted court permission to take Halo to Italy for two months while she films an upcoming movie. The restraining order provides a layer of protection while she works abroad, following concerns about DDG’s behavior escalating in recent months.
