  • Experience full 3D animated volleyball matchups

Haikyu!! Fly High, Garena’s upcoming mobile adaptation of the hit volleyball sports anime, finally has a release date for iOS and Android. It’s set to arrive on July 31st, bringing all the epic highs and lows of high-school volleyball to the palm of your hand, alongside all the iconic characters fans know and love.

For those utterly confused, let’s paint a picture. Haikyu is a long-running shonen sports anime and manga that focuses on, well, volleyball. But as you might expect, despite the rather pedestrian concept, this is anything but boring, as we follow Shoyo Hinata and his rival and friend Tobio Kageyama as they seek to help their school’s team rise to the top.

For fans of the series, Fly High has virtually everything you could ask for. With finely animated 3D visualisations of volleyball matches and a roster of characters from across the series for fans of even the most obscure athlete.

Haikyu!! Fly High is also set to feature voiceovers from both the English and Japanese cast, meaning you can enjoy it in the same anime-quality tone as you would if you were watching the show itself. Characters will also reenact signature moves and manoeuvres as part of each match, letting you build your own fantasy lineup for thrilling matches ripped straight from the series.

It’s interesting to see that Haikyu!! Fly High prioritises giving players an intimate experience of the same excitement as the show. And I’m sure many fans will be eager to sink hour after hour into Fly High and all its various modes and matchups.
