Clearly, it was interesting growing up while also starring on Full House, Indeed, Jodie Sweetin and Andrea Barber would not be hosting the much-beloved rewatch podcast How Rude, Tanneritos! if they did not have so many behind-the-scenes stories to tell.
Sweetin and Barber were just five and 11, respectively, when the show began, and likely in awe of the stars at the top of the call sheet like John Stamos and the late Bob Saget. So you can understand why this memory would stand out.
In the latest episode of the podcast, Barber remembered the time when she got recognized in public… but Saget did not.

“I remember every Friday doing our family dinners and going off campus, and going to CityWalk or Jerry’s,” Barber reminisced. “And Bob drove me one of the times to CityWalk, so he was going to drive me back for the show.”
She continued, “We were waiting for the valet to bring his car around, and a fan came up to me and said, ‘Oh, are you Kimmy from Full House? Can I get an autograph?’ or whatever it was at the time. There were no selfies at that time. And then she said, ‘Okay, thanks,’ and walked away and didn’t say anything to Bob.”

Barber concluded, “I immediately turned to him and I said, ‘She didn’t recognize you. She recognized me.’ And he was so proud. He was just like, ‘Yep, she did not recognize me.’ You know that was eating him up,” she added with a laugh.
That’s where Sweetin chimed in with, “How do you miss Bob? He’s, like, six foot two, and he’s not quiet or, you know, he does not slink around.”
Barber also reminded listeners that, at the time, he wasn’t just the star of Full House, he was hosting America’s Funniest Home Videos, a pre-YouTube way for mass audiences to watch people get hit in the groin.

“It was very satisfying, I have to admit,” Barber confessed.
