Fruit Ninja Classic+ carries forward its Bluey crossover with the Sticky Gecko event

If you’ve been enjoying the Bluey x Fruit Ninja Classic+ crossover, get ready for more as Sticky Gecko, the second instalment, is set to launch exclusively on Apple Arcade on July 3rd. It follows the success of the Featherwand event, bringing Bluey and Bingo back once more for some fun.
This time, Bluey and co bring their sticky ceiling-crawling toy Gecky into the fruit-slicing chaos on Fruit Ninja Classic+. For a limited time, you’ll be able to slice, swipe, and swoosh your way through fruit while trying to help catch Gecky, all within the comforting backdrop of Bluey and Bingo’s Bedroom.
Sticky Gecko continues the four-part collaboration, building on the wave of love from fans across more than 165 countries during the first event. Featherwand soared to the #1 Apple Arcade spot in Australia and ranked in the top five in major markets, including the US, UK, and Canada.
Like its predecessor, the event is inspired by one of Bluey’s fan-favourite episodes. You’ll slice through fruit with a wand in hand, watch out for Gecky, and unlock new themed rewards, including a sticky gecko of your own and new scenery pulled straight from the animated series. The themed environment makes it a fun detour for all fans.
Originally revealed last month, the Sticky Gecko event is the second of four minigames in the collaboration, with Asparagus and Fruit Salad scheduled for later this summer. These themed events are rolling out exclusively on Apple Arcade through mid-August, right in time to celebrate Fruit Ninja’s 15th anniversary.
