EA Sports FC Mobile will let fans watch select MLS matches

- EA Sports FC Mobile will let players watch select matches from the MLS
- This includes matchups like LA Galaxy versus New York Red Bulls
- You’ll even be rewarded with in-game currency just for watching!
EA Sports FC Mobile has gone from strength to strength, much like its console sibling. And despite losing out on the lucrative FIFA licence, EA have been quick to forge new relationships. This is especially the case with a new deal that lets players watch select Major League Soccer matches through EA Sports FC Mobile!
Yes, thanks to a deal between EA, the American MLS and Apple TV+, fans will be able to jump into live simulcasts of four upcoming matches. Simply check into the in-game FCM TV Portal to watch these matches live, with a companion Football Centre to offer up-to-date info on global footballing events.
While the MLS may not be as world-renowned as FIFA, there are still plenty of great matches for footie fanatics to take in. Such as LA Galaxy versus New York Red Bulls (May 10th), or Atlanta United FC versus Philadelphia Union (May 17th), you’ll even be rewarded with in-game currency just for watching!

This partnership is a pretty clear-cut reminder that, free from maintaining their relationship with FIFA, EA is eager to branch out. The decision not only to offer these matches but also award players just for watching is an ingenious way to get fans involved.
The Football Centre also offers the equally smart decision to let players actually take real-life matchups happening across the world and play them in-game. Unfortunately, you will need to wait until September to see the final two MLS matches of this partnership, but if the first proves to be fun to watch, then it may well be worth the wait.
