For the first time ever, the racing games franchise Forza arrived on PlayStation in April 2025. It was Forza Horizon 5 that ended up coming to PS5 this year, and it was more than a success.
According to Alinea Analytics, Forza Horizon 5 sold over 3 million copies on Sony’s console alone. Quite simply, it was the best-selling new game on PS5 in 2025. The recent 25% discount on the PlayStation Store has further boosted sales of Playground Games’ title.
On Steam, Forza Horizon 5 surpassed 6.5 million units. What’s more, 45.5 million players have tried out the game on Xbox One and XboxSeries X|S so far.
