Fans are not happy with Miley Cyrus right now!
With the release of her new song Every Girl You’ve Ever Loved, Smilers in London were SO excited to get a chance to meet their idol. The track features supermodel Naomi Campbell, who was also at the vinyl signing event, much to the delight of attendees! Or, at least they were delighted at first…
While at the record store Rough Trade on Sunday, Miley and Naomi seemed to be WAY more interested in each other than fans. At least, that’s the impression they gave in videos and pictures circulating on X (Twitter)!
One clip that’s been going viral showed the two ladies only barely acknowledging a fan who walked up, as they were extremely engrossed in whatever tea they were spilling. Ch-ch-check it out (below):

This is NOT a good look… We could understand if they were being interrupted while at dinner, or being chased down while trying to do some shopping, of course. But this was an event specifically for meeting fans! So disappointing.

What made fans even more upset, though, was Miley’s lack of reaction to the situation. On Instagram Monday, she posted an ode to her Smilers, writing:
“@naomi thank you for celebrating the Every Girl You’ve Ever Loved vinyl release day with me. Laughing with you is my favorite. I’ll miss you until we reunite. Love you forever. Thank you to everyone who showed up to the signing, we adored meeting you. If you missed it, get your life & our vinyl that’s available now.”
In the comments, social media users absolutely flamed her for seemingly not giving her fans the time of day:
“Sorry to everyone who went and got a photo with them talking to one another”
“Saw the video of y’all ignoring the fans would not even make eye contact with them. Y’all sorry for that”
“girl, i mean, READ THE ROOM”
“treat your fans better next time”
“This whole event showed how rude and out of touch you both are”
“Yeah we know you love her bc u ignored even your fans to talk to her”
“Absolutely shocking behaviour of you pair on the signing… These are your fans Miley, they can quickly change their minds”
Ouch!
Not everyone is mad at Miley and Naomi, though. In fact, some fans came to her defense with stories of their positive experiences. One fan account for the Used To Be Young singer said:
“Naomi being there was a natural distraction, there are tons of positive videos, and if anything it was the venue staff rushing us all my video a clear example of that”
