*I have to admit, this little car gave me the surprise of my life. It was such a fun, zippy ride and I think I’m in love. The 2025 Toyota Corolla FX marks an exciting evolution in the Corolla lineup, blending a sporty aesthetic with upgraded technology and the nostalgia of the 80s and 90s (for people like me). Let’s get into it.

The Look: Right off the bat, the Corolla FX isn’t at all assuming, but holds its own with an elevated look and blacked-out trim. The 18-inch satin-black alloy wheels with chrome finishes add to its sporty stance, and a rear spoiler completes the retro-modern vibe. Inside, the cabin keeps things clean and confident, with sport-style seats and just enough detail to feel the upgraded effort. It’s a car that creates a satisfying experience without trying too hard.

The Tech: Inside the 2025 Toyota Corolla FX, tech takes center stage. The 10.5-inch touchscreen is responsive and easy to navigate, while wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto make connecting your phone feel effortless. I absolutely love the screen! While this is one of the less expensive rides in the Toyota line-up, you can bet this vehicle doesn’t feel cheap. The screen keeps up with modern needs while giving pockets a break. Safety is important. So Toyota Safety Sense 3.0 is incorporated throughout the vehicle, providing lane-keeping assist, pre-collision alerts, and adaptive cruise control—features that punch well above the Corolla’s price point.

But not everything is flawless. The wireless charging station, while a great idea in theory, proved to be finicky during testing. Phones often needed to be repositioned, and charging would frequently drop out without warning. It’s a minor hiccup in an otherwise solid tech package, but one that could get annoying on longer drives.

The Drive: Performance-wise, the Corolla FX brings a little thrill to daily errands or that long drive to work. With a 2.0L Dynamic Force 4-cylinder engine pushing out 169 horsepower, it’s zippy enough to keep you engaged without taking you to the bank. The 2025 Toyota Corolla FX is giving solid, grounded drive, hugging curves and sports car performance. It’s delivering excellent fuel efficiency too – up to 35 MPG combined.

The 2025 Corolla FX is more than just a stylish special edition—it’s a well-rounded car with flair, thoughtful features, and a drive that’s more fun than you’d expect. Apart from a shaky wireless charging pad, it’s a tech-savvy, city-smart vehicle with just enough nostalgic charm to make you smile.
