EA has released the first gameplay images for EA Sports FC 26. In this announcement video, Electronic Arts claims to have listened to a number of criticisms levelled by the players at the latest entry.
The American publisher promises reworked gameplay with more responsive dribbling, smarter AI positioning and movements that are both definite and explosive. In addition, the game will feature two gameplay presets: a competitive one for Ultimate Team and Clubs, and a realistic one for a true-to-life football feel in Career mode.
We will also get Manager Live Challenges throughout the season in both pro and manager career modes. A wide variety of real-life scenarios and fictional stories will be on offer. EA Sports FC 26 will feature over 20,000 footballers across more than 750 clubs and national teams. Added to this are over 120 stadiums and 35 leagues.
The release date is set for September 26, 2026. The Ultimate Edition will be available from September 19.
