Last week, Movie Games SA opened an investigation into Schedule I. The studio accused TVGS of potentially infringing the intellectual property rights of its Drug Dealer Simulator license.
In the end, Movie Games issued a press release stating that, for the time being, there are no legal proceedings against the creators of Schedule I. The investigation into possible copyright infringement is ongoing, but has no legal force at present.
Movie Games also says it is not seeking to have Schedule I banned or even to harm the TVGS studio. The press release was also issued to appease those who have been review bombing Drug Dealer Simulator since the announcement.
