Barely a month after the launch of Splitgate 2, 1047 Games has decided to let go of "a small group of valued 1047 Games team members".
On LinkedIn, the studio thanked those let go and pledged to "perfecting the Splitgate 2 gameplay experience in response to community feedback". To achieve this, the studio has chosen to redirect its resources.
Co-founders Ian Proulx and Nicholas Bagamian have announced that they have opted not to take a salary, so that the studio can "deliver the next phase of the project".
