DOOM: The Dark Ages has got several visual improvements on PC thanks to an NVIDIA graphics driver update.
As of June 18th, the FPS developed by id Software is compatible with path tracing. This improves the quality of ray-traced lighting by reflecting additional details on all surfaces.
NVIDIA Spatial Hash Radiance Cache technology calculates ray-traced light more efficiently. Add to this the reorganization of shader execution, which improves performance. Finally, DLSS Ray Reconstruction provides a boost to image quality and performance.
