Between the disastrous MindsEye, the delay of Marathon and the very mixed reception of FBC: Firebreak, this gaming week has been no walk through the park. Fortunately, Nintendo has lifted up the spirits with a presentation for the next Donkey Kong game and NetEase is working on a very ambitious game.
Here are this week’s highlights!
1 Marathon has been delayed indefinitely
Bungie has announced the postponement of its PvP game. It won’t be released on September 23, and we haven’t been given a new date. The American studio will be back in the news later this autumn.
2 MindsEye gets torn to pieces by press and gamers
Build A Rocket Boy is now the lowest-rated game of the year. A first hotfix has been deployed already, but many bugs still remain. The current MindsEye Metacritic average is 37%.
