Judge Faith Jenkins, Kenny Lattimore Sue YouTubers for Defamation

*Judge Faith Jenkins and R&B singer Kenny Lattimore have launched a legal battle against a group of anonymous YouTubers, accusing them of spreading defamatory and harassing content about their personal lives.
As Ice Cream Convos reports, the couple filed a lawsuit in Los Angeles County on Wednesday, aiming to hold the unidentified content creators accountable for what they describe as a malicious campaign driven by fabricated stories and monetized falsehoods.
In a joint Instagram statement, Jenkins and Lattimore addressed the issue: “Today we filed a lawsuit in Los Angeles County to hold anonymous YouTubers accountable for the defamation and harassment they’ve directed at our family and personal lives. For weeks, we remained silent—but that silence should not be mistaken for acceptance.”
They condemned the YouTubers for profiting off “messy” content about their family, alleging the use of fake court documents and judicial rulings, invented quotes, as well as AI-generated lies to fuel their videos.
“Some [creators] went as far as referencing non-existent court documents, fabricated judicial rulings, attributing fake quotes to us, and using AI to manufacture lies. This is not only harmful—it is unlawful,” the couple stated.

The lawsuit seeks to unmask the anonymous YouTubers with assistance from YouTube Legal, which has agreed to provide identifying information for the uploaders upon a valid legal request. Jenkins and Lattimore emphasized that the actions of these creators have crossed legal boundaries.
“This legal action isn’t just about us—it’s about setting a precedent: No one should be allowed to profit from defamation on their platform while hiding behind anonymity,” the couple said.
“We remain focused on our family, our work, and raising a very precocious 2-year-old. Any inquiries should be directed to our attorney, Felton Newell of Newell Law Group, a trusted and experienced advocate on our team.”
This lawsuit serves as a bold warning to content creators who hide behind anonymity to spread defamatory material for profit.
