Diddy trial live updates: New alleged details emerge in Kid Cudi’s car bombing in Sean Combs’ case

A Los Angeles Fire Department arson investigator is testifying in Sean “Diddy” Combs’s New York sex trafficking trial.
Lance Jimenez investigated the bombing of Scott “Kid Cudi” Mescudi’s Porsche in January 2012. Mescudi gave law enforcement two fingerprint cards he had taken after Combs allegedly broke into his home in December 2011. However, an LAPD officer destroyed the prints in August 2012, Jimenez said. The LAPD authorized the destruction of those print cards, he added.
Prosecutors asked if this was “unusual,” and the defense objected.
“They were suggesting that someone in this courtroom had something to do with the improper destruction of evidence, which is ridiculous,” defense attorney Marc Agnifilo argued.
Prosecutors argued that there was no ability to compare the fingerprints due to this destruction, so they think it’s a relevant detail.
Combs’s former personal assistant and alleged abuse victim are also expected to testify. The ex-employee, identified under the pseudonyms “Mia” and “Victim-4,” could take the stand today.
Tuesday’s hearing saw bombshell testimony from another of Combs’ former personal assistants, Capricorn Clark, who said that the media mogul once kidnapped her during a jealous fit of rage over a romantic rival.
Combs is facing sex trafficking, transportation to engage in prostitution, and racketeering conspiracy charges. Combs was arrested in September 2024 as federal authorities alleged he threatened, abused, and coerced victims “to fulfill his sexual desires” between 2004 and 2024. Combs has denied any accusations of wrongdoing.
